Normally suffered in private, relapse is part of the recovery process from alcoholism. In David Hasselhoff's case he was filmed by his 16 year old daughter Taylor Ann and posted on the internet. He has been ridiculed by the media for this eye-opening footage of his drunken attempts to eat a hamburger, however the over-riding emotion is one of pity.
