We can all relate to Montreal TV Writer Claude Landry who lost his rag and scooped up a filthy mess, tossing it back into the lap of a man who had just emptied his car ashtray on the sidewalk. Landry runs away leaving the guy fuming. That's a pun on the French word 'to smoke' which is a good link as this video is all in French.

Cowards run away. If you want to avoid violence, don't get in somebody's face. He should have talked to the guy, not invaded his space and messed up his car and his clothes. Did he think the litterer was going to just smile at him? I'm not saying Buttman's idea was wrong, just his approach, and his cowardly skedaddle.
