Earlier on in the year Hugh acquired a new boat from Essex Boatyards, not sure what to do with his old boat, he has asked us to auction it off with the proceeds going to charity. This give you the chance to own a boat with a unique history and to help a good cause too!

What Hugh says about the boat:

"Sea Fox has been a fantastic first fishing boat for me and my boat partner Nick Fisher, and has featured in some very memorable River Cottage maritime adventures, including landing my very first Dorset bass, and also the Hunt for the Giant Lobster.

With our growing families (seven kids between us!) Nick and I have decided it's time to invest in something a little bigger, and we are utterly thrilled with our new 25ft Arvor from Essex Boatyards.

Nevertheless, we are sure Sea Fox has many good family fun and fishing years ahead of her, and we wish her new owners the very best. We will be donating the proceeds of her sale to the charity River Cottage is currently supporting, which is Rural Revival." HFW

Sea fox also benefits from the advantage of having a good 4 wheel trailer which appears to be well maintaned and was towed over 200miles from Dorset to Essex in March 06.
