UPDATE: John Deas from Scotland is the Heinzstein behind 'The Most Expensive Tin of Beans'. The final bean sold for £50.98 bringing the grand total to £355.01 (by our reckoning - feel free to correct our math). We have been anally keeping an individual tally, but were slightly disappointed that beans 100 thru 2 were sold all at once. Is this a record? Someone call McWhirter.

The World's Most Expensive Tin of Beans?
Bean Number 150 (149 left to go)

An opportunity to purchase part of what may become the world's most expensive tin of beans. You might become a record breaker!

BEAN #150

In an effort to create the world's most expensive tin of beans I am selling a 200g tin of beans - bean by bean.

Having counted the beans in an identical tin I will be selling off ownership of 150 of the little fellows starting with number 150 and coming downwards until reaching Bean #1 - one bean listed per day.

Purchasers will receive a certificate signed by myself confirming purchase of ownership of their specific bean along with a photo of the what will hopefully become the worlds most expensive tin of beans.

Once all the beans are sold I shall register the sale with the Guiness Book of Records in London, UK under the names of the individual purchasers and if this is accepted and we are succesful in our record breaking quest I will then send a copy of the official confirmation to all part owners.

Could it be that the bean you buy will be nestled in beside the bean owned buy an international star of stage and screen or royalty?

After the final auction the tin will remain unopened and if a world record breaker it will be donated to an museum for all to enjoy.....

Worldwide bids welcome - postage will be dependant on location but will send receipt with certificate so will be at cost only. Happy bidding! Paypal only please.
