Winning Bid: $360.25 39 Bids Auction started: Nov 23 2005 Auction ended: Nov 30 2005 Item Location: Avon Lake, Ohio, US Auction No. 5639201146 Seller ID: themrs44012 Winner ID: stiej I am fed up with my family not helping me out..... I just had a baby and the one thing I asked them to do for me was to just pick up after themselves. No big deal, right? WRONG!!!!! Everyday I wake up (wake up? yeah right, I have a newborn so I get no sleep!!!!) and make my way downstairs with the baby in tow just to see my son's, daughter's, and husband's stuff laying all over the house. I used to pick up their "stuff" that they would leave laying around and either put it away for them or put it on their beds for them to put it away. Then when they wake up and come down for breakfast it's the same thing everyday: I ask them to put their stuff away when they are done using it... I ask them not to leave things laying around..... etc... etc..... etc..... until I am blue in the face and guess what? THEY NEVER LISTEN because EVERYDAY it's the same thing: I wake up and find their stuff laying all over the house! No matter how many times I have asked not only nicely, but even yelled, for them to pick up after themselves it's the same thing: I end up doing it because it does not get done. They have no respect for me, so I now have no respect for their stuff. I am now on strike for one week and they will pay the price for it! What does this boil down to? Well, for one week I am going to start taking EVERYTHING that my son, husband, and daughter leave laying out. I am not going to ask them to put anything away anymore. Whatever gets left laying out will be put into a box. Whatever is in the box at the end of the week (this auction will be listed for 7 days) you will get! I don't care if it's my son's game boy advance, my daughter's barbie dolls, my husband's dvd's--- anything is fair play and you will get everything I pick up that they leave out for one week. There is even a bonus: I am going to video tape their reactions at the end of the week when I tell them what I did and include that in the box of stuff you will get. They will learn after this auction ends that all the stuff I picked up all week long was placed in a box and put up on E-bay for auction to the highest bidder. I think their reactions alone will be priceless, and it makes me giggle as I type this just thinking of that, lol. Yes, this will actually be quite fun now that I think of it and hopefully when they learn what is being done at the end of the week they will have learned a very valuable lesson: when Mom asks you to pick up after yourselves you'll do it or suffer the consequences. Yes, this will be a nice little lesson to be learned! Now because E-bay has certain policies regarding mystery auctions that I need to follow you need to understand that you are bidding right now on an empty box. Anything that is contained inside the box at the end of the week is a gift from me to you. But the winning bid amount is for the box, not the contents. Even before I sat down to write this auction listing out, I have picked up 5 items. There are 2 items that my daughter left sitting on the couch from last night. There are 2 items that my son left on the living room floor that were not put away (hmmm.... what could it possibly be that a 10 year old boy would leave sitting on the floor in front of the tv???) from last night, and there is one item that my husband left sitting on the steps that I guess he meant to take up to our room but didn't quite make it that far. I will post new findings each day although what the actual items are will remain a mystery. Happy bidding and hopefully my family will learn a lesson from all of this otherwise I will make this a continual listing until they do! IMPORTANT: LISTING FOR INFO PURPOSES ONLY. NOT FOR SALE HERE.
