Texas police spike-stripped the path of a Chevrolet 4x4 they were aprehending and this was the second tyre to come away. eBay went spare when they saw the ad, but it has since been changed with the seller treading more carefully. (Have we missed any tyre-related puns?)

The Chelsea fan that caught manager Jose Mourinho's Premiership Champions' medal looked like he was in for a windfall when the bidding went up to 10 million. A truck driver is selling his notes from the Michael Jackson trials. Bid now and you may get an exclusive insight into the famous court case. Or maybe just a book full of doodles. Sounds like one of Jacko's pets.
