Sir Elton John's Red Bentley has just been sold on eBay. It's the one he used to stalk a young Russian girl in the video for 'Nikita'. We personally think that £6,000 is a bargain. Even more so if he left his binoculars in the glovebox.

Carlos Owens got bored of building his fully-functional 18ft "Anthromopic Humanoid" and put it up for a starting price of $40,000. We were not sure the robot, Sally, looked very happy about all this and we didn't fancy being her new owners.

eBay have banned users for BIDDING on Live 8 tickets. Following a plea from Bob Geldof, fans were encouraged to sabotage the auctions by placing outrageous bids on them. After much deliberation from eBay and big swearies from Bob Geldof, the auction site withdrew all listings from its site. A few with creative Item Headings were still slipping through the net but eBay froze the accounts of all saboteurs preventing them from using the site.
