Iraq Solution on eBay

*****

An American veteran who claims to have participated in more than 300 combat operations in both Iraq wars auctioned a five-page "solution" to ending the U.S. occupation of Iraq. Just like the war, the bidding went out of control and was withdrawn but you can still see it here

Paris Jail Jumpsuit

****

It appears that Paris Hilton is even stripping off in jail. Somebody, possibly a fellow inmate, has put Paris' discarded state-issued jumpsuit up on eBay. The listing has now been removed, but you can still see it here. Incidentally, do you think Paris has "tossed the salad" yet, or is that only in men's prisons?

Fakes of Hazzard

***.

Sadly the $9,900,500.00 winning bid on the real General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard movie turned out to be a hoax. This would have been the highest amount spent on a single eBay transaction, however it all now end in court. See the auction here. (Thanks to Smokey for nudging us with this one.)

Cho Bought Ammo on eBay

**

This cheeky chap is the mascot for One Click Shooting, the company that supplied Seung-Hui Cho ammunition clips less than a month previous to him murdering 32 people in a massacre at Virginia Technical College. Email contact@oneclickshooting.com to send them your messages directly. You may also like to have a little word with Elk Ridge Shooting Supplies at elkridgess@netzero.com who furnished him with these Magazine Rounds on the same day. eBay are now denying hosting this auction, but we have a grab of Cho's feedback if anyone wants to see it.

Love it. Nick it. Sell it.

*****

Looks like eBay have finally acknowledged the amount of dodgy transactions made through their auction site. A new campaign encourages sellers to enhance their listings with videos of items for sale. One example they give is this guy who is robbing his employers blind selling off their equipment with free postage and packing because he's using the office mail. Ah well. It obviously IS fake. Whenever we've sent stuff from work we still charge the P&P and pocket the extra. Ssshh. See the auction here (link to video within)
